Finding a good tax attorney in Los Angeles can be a difficult task. In order to find a good tax attorney consider the following suggestions:

  • Ask colleagues for recommendations
  • Contact your local Bar Association
  • Use the abundant resources available over the Internet

There are several factors one should investigate before hiring, such as: How much experience does my potential tax attorney have? Is the potential attorney's practice focused on tax law or a general practice? Is my attorney capable of necessary negotiating with the IRS? What type of taxation law education does my tax attorney possess? After narrowing down your possible attorneys into a short list, request interviews with the tax attorneys in order to have these questions answered. It is a good idea to be presented with credentials because your firm’s and family’s financial well-being is at stake.
